AlpirianEvil was back in power and had already killed Rypirian’s mate. The poor layven was devastated at the loss of his mate to the point where he was refusing to come out of his room. Lucian’s attempts to try and coax his father out of the room failed. So Lucian sought his mother’s help to get his father out. Sam came with Alptraum and was soon able to persuade Rypirian to watch his son train.
Zekrim was more than willing to spar with Lucian. Alptraum stuck around with his arm around Sam’s waist as they watched. Rypirian sighed sadly as he caught Alptraum sneaking a kiss on Sam’s cheek. Sam noted Rypirian’s emotions, as he tried to direct his attention to the sparring match. Zekrim ended it quickly, leaving Sam to help her son up to his feet.
“You fought well son,” Rypirian complimented, forcing a smile. Sam shifted to her son’s side, whispering, “Your dad and your uncle are great fighters too.” Lucian nodded, “But Uncle
ConfusionOnly you know what happens
But there is no way to explain it
The words are drowned
By the tears you can never shed
Your eyes shine bright with pride
But your heart has shattered
Skin frozen, Numb, like your soul
For what has been going on?
You've ignored the problem the entire time
Story TimeRaum was left alone with his Uncle Bane and his sister Laila. Although Raum was still a bit wary of his uncle, if Laila was happy, he could learn to suffice. But then again, it wasn’t soon that his sister had fallen asleep and that meant he was left alone with Uncle Bane. Bane gently shifted Laila onto his pillow, tucking the blankets around her to keep her warm.
Bane watched as Raum hid under the covers, curling into a ball. Bane lifted the covered, “Peek a boo, kid.” Raum squeaked in surprise and dashed under the pillow, his tail lashing out behind him. Bane sighed and took out his book, sitting next to Laila and read out loud, “Well, it wasn’t too soon that the sphinx asked its infamous riddle. ‘What walks on four legs in the morning, two in the evening and three at night?’”
That got Raum’s attention. He slowly popped his head out from under the pillow as he listened. Bane kept reading. “’Hercules thought long and har
A Cello is a Hollow InstrumentAlptraum and Laila were out playing hide and seek in Methuselah’s palace. Laila was able to find Alptraum in every single one of the places he hid, though she knew he wasn’t trying as hard as he should have been. This time it was her turn to hide and Laila scampered off to find a good hiding place. Alptraum peeked and saw her run off to Methuselah’s room.
He followed her, watching her disappear in the crack in the door. Alptraum decided it would be best if he waited a few minutes so she could actually hide herself. Laila looked around and thought that she could hide under the bed. That was as good a place as any. Though it was much too wide for a tiny griffin. There were loud footsteps and she scrambled up a large wooden panel, hiding inside a slim hole she found.
Methuselah came out from his late morning shower, thinking a bit of practice on his cello would be a good way to start the day. He looked through his books, finding a piece he thought was a good enough warm
We Only Need One DadThere were hands everywhere. Pulling grabbing and groping. No matter how hard she tried to avoid them, they kept going in worse places. Another scene shift. Even with someone she trusted, she was assaulted, beat and left in a bloody heap. Everyone looked on, and the final thing, she didn’t bear look up, knowing the one she trusted was holding the gun about to pull the trigger on her.
Sam screamed as she woke up. She morphed herself into a five year old version of her cat hybrid form as she ran, crying to her father’s room. She jumped up to turn the knob, falling onto the floor. She wailed, “Daddy!” Methuselah abruptly jumped to his feet, scooping up Sam.
“What’s wrong sweetie? Why are you crying?” He cradled Sam in his arms, trying to calm her down. Sam sobbed into her paws, trembling in fear, stammering out the bits and pieces of her nightmare. Methuselah kissed Sam’s head fatherly, sitting back on the bed. Sam presse
The Right PartnerCRASH!
Alptraum ran upstairs as a colorful string of curses resounded through the palace. He knocked the door open and rushed inside, ready to protect his mate. Sam was sitting at the bed, half dressed and obviously furious. Alptraum relaxed and closed the door behind him, locking it and sitting down next to her.
“What wrong, Love?” Alptraum gently snaked his arm around Sam’s bare waist, resting his head on her shoulder.
Sam whimpered and leaned her head on his, “Stupid crap.”
Alptraum kissed her cheek, “Care to explain?” Sam whined and collapsed into Alptraum’s lap. He chuckled and gently rubbed the small of her back, calming her down. Sam purred and turned onto her back, scooting herself to rest her lap on Alptraum’s thigh. He ran his fingers through her hair and smiled, “Not that I don’t like seeing you like this, but why are you only wearing your jeans?”
She halfheartedly punched his shoulder,
Lucian's KillIt had been a long while since Sam had seen her son. She thought it better to Go with Rypirian and check out what Lucian was up to. So the two of them left via portal to see how their youngest son was. They found him in an old Earth kingdom. Lucian was in front of a crowd of people. Sam and Rypirian stayed in the back of the crowd, watching their son at work.
Lucian held the king up high for the rest to see, “You see your king? How the mighty have fallen!” Lucian snatched the crown off the king’s head, placing it on his own. “I am now your king! You will all bow down.” Lucian slammed the king down and unsheathed his sword, pointing it at the former monarch, “You will be the first to bow.”
Terrified, the king fell to his knees, bowing his head down, his hands clasped in a pleading gesture, “Please! Spare my life!” Lucian sneered, “Begging? What a pitifully weak ruler your kingdom had. Do not worry, you’ll be rid of this c
De-Stressing Is SimpleIt was a long day. Alptraum looked left and right to try and find his mate, but all he knew was that she was working. He went to her study last, after making her a little snack in the kitchen. He didn’t bother knocking, going straight into the room, where his mate was hunched over a desk, papers strewn across every corner. A dim light illuminated the wide space, her glasses propped on her nose, and her hair falling messily over her face.
He chuckled, walking over and tucking her hair behind her ear. He cleared a small space in the corner, setting her snack, a tuna sandwich, down. She waved a hand, using her magic to pull a chair next to her, letting him sit next to her. He rested his head on top of hers, watching her scribble away, correcting, signing and noting comments on various documents. She growled lightly as he shifted and pushed him away gently.
“Sit up straight.” Alptraum did as instructed, watching her continue her work semi calmly. He soon tired of simply w
